The weather may be cooling down but the heavyweight division is on fire! The inaugural episode of PBC Fight Camp: Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz (Part 1) drew 2,247,000 viewers on FOX, according to Nielsen Media Research. Those numbers make it the most watched PBC Fight Camp to date.
The anticipated Wilder-Ortiz world heavyweight championship rematch is set to take place Saturday, November 23, at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, live on FOX Sports PPV (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT). Undefeated WBC World Heavyweight Champion Wilder, 41-0 (40 KOs), is the longest-reigning heavyweight champ today. With a win over Ortiz, he ties Muhammad Ali on the list of most consecutive world title defenses (10).
PBC Fight Camp: Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz (Part 2) will air Saturday, November 2, on FOX, beginning at 12 p.m. ET/11:30 p.m. PT.
The show will be preceded by PBC Face to Face: Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz, on FOX, beginning at 11:30 p.m. ET/11:00 p.m. PT.
